Tet is a special occasion that celebrates family, reflection, and fresh beginnings. It is a time when the strength of our community shines the brightest, because we know that whatever joy we can share is especially deeply felt during this season of renewal.

For many of the families we work with, the holiday can also bring financial pressure: food costs increase, school expenses approach, and income is often uncertain.

This year, thanks to the generosity of our donors who are always passionate about supporting the community we serve, we delivered 230 gift boxes to children and 124 red envelopes of lucky money (lì xì) to households across Vat Lai, Ba Vi, Co Do, and Quang Oai Communes in Hanoi.

These carefully curated toolkits offered crucial financial relief by covering daily essentials and providing flexible lì xì for upcoming expenses. By including traditional treats, the gifts fostered cultural belonging and restored dignity, freeing up funds so parents could proudly fulfill cultural expectations and share blessings with their loved ones.

We would like to give a special shout-out to our valued partners, including British International School Hanoi, Concordia International School Hanoi, Nu Clinic, and the Right Hands, for rallying their communities to contribute to this meaningful initiative. Your students and team members went above and beyond by gathering essential items and packing each gift bag by hand. Every bag carried more than just supplies; it carried the time, care, and generosity of the people who prepared it.

We also cannot thank our online donors enough for thinking about the community. We told the families that these thoughtful gifts came from people who are physically so far away. Your kindness traveled a long way, and it arrived exactly where it needed to: at the family table, in the hands of parents doing their best, and in the bright, relieved smiles of children.
