School Scholarships

Without the school scholarships provided by HSCV these wonderful children would be forced to stop attending school.

For only $50 you can sponsor an at risk child with a year of school fees. In return you will receive a photo, biography, and have the opportunity to exchange letters, pictures and drawings with the child.

For an additional $205 you can sponsor the child's family with a monthly donation of rice for one year. This donation provides the family with the flexibility to purchase other needed items such as protein, vegetables and clothing.

Portions of your donation to any of direct sponsorship options will be used to support other HSCV programs where funding may be lacking.

February 14th, 2010 marks the start of the year of the Tiger on the Lunar Calendar. Known as Tet in Vietnam, it means the first morning of the first day of the new year. This time of year is very important for families and friends. It a time for celebrations, making amends, paying off debts and starting fresh.

For the third consecutive year HSCV is offering sponsors and non-sponsors the opportunity to give a Tet gift to a family in our assistance programs.

If you are a currently sponsoring a family and would like your gift to be given your please indicate so when making your donation. Please let us know the full name of the sponsor as well as your family code, if known.

If you are not currently sponsoring a family you can still give a family the gift of a joyous Tet. We will chose a family from our list and send you a profile and photos of the family to your email.

Families will receive their Tet gifts at the start of February 2010, so send your donations today and help a family start the year on high. Chuc Mung Nam Moi!

Items are subject to availably and market price. Should one of the above items become unavailable another will be substituted in its place. A portion of your money will be used for the Tet general funds, which will be used to give gifts to families whose sponsors do not receive a gift directly from their sponsors.
