School Scholarships

Without the school scholarships provided by HSCV these wonderful children would be forced to stop attending school.

For only $50 you can sponsor an at risk child with a year of school fees. In return you will receive a photo, biography, and have the opportunity to exchange letters, pictures and drawings with the child.

For an additional $205 you can sponsor the child's family with a monthly donation of rice for one year. This donation provides the family with the flexibility to purchase other needed items such as protein, vegetables and clothing.

Portions of your donation to any of direct sponsorship options will be used to support other HSCV programs where funding may be lacking.

HSCV has a multiple Direct Sponsorship Options available. Donations to our general fund are always appreciated. However, for those wishing for a more personal connection sponsorships are the way to go. Sponsors receive specific information on those being sponsored. A profile and a photograph of the child or family being sponsored are provided. In addition, the child, or a member of a family, will write a personal letter. At the sponsor’s option, a continuing corresponding relationship can be established.

Sponsors are invited to send up to 3 letters or packages per year to their sponsored child/families. Letters will be translated into Vietnamese by HSCV staff and volunteers. Any letters written to the sponsors will be translated and posted to sponsors. Packages are also welcome, however we ask all sponsors to cover any import taxes that may be incurred.

Sponsors may receive their sponsor packets by email or by post. Please indicate how you wish to receive your packets. Sponsors who choose receive their packets by email will receive their sponsorship information quicker, help reduce HSCV costs as well as reduce our impact on our environment.

Sponsors will be reminded to renew their sponsorship on a yearly basis.

Sponsors and prospective sponsors are invited to visit their sponsored families through our visitor options.
