School Scholarships

Without the school scholarships provided by HSCV these wonderful children would be forced to stop attending school.

For only $50 you can sponsor an at risk child with a year of school fees. In return you will receive a photo, biography, and have the opportunity to exchange letters, pictures and drawings with the child.

Donate $50 now, using paypal's safe and secure network

For an additional $100 a year you can sponsor the child's family with a monthly donation of rice. This donation will provide the family with a much needed opportunity to purchase other necessities, such as vegetables, meat and personal items such as clothing and shoes.

May 31st - Students from the University of Montana visit HSCV projects - The group visited The Center for Disabled Children and Elderly and the Sponsor Society 4 in Ba Vi, Ha Tay.

The group toured the first facility and learned about difficulties of the center. May of the children at the center are bedridden for their entire lives. Each child's situation is different, but many of the birth defects are attributed to Agent Orange.

At the second facility the group had the opportunity to visit the children and the homeless adults living at the center.

May 27th - Students from the University of Minnesota visit HSCV projects- The group visited The Center for Disabled Children and Elderly and Sponsor Society 4 in Ba Vi, Ha Tay.

The group had a warm welcoming by the director, the staff, and the children at the center. The center cares for over 100 children. All of these children are considered handicapped, but in many cases it is difficult to what the actual handicap is, besides a birthmark, or a twisted arm.

The highlight for many, was the baby room where recently abandoned infants are cared for. It is hoped that these babies will be placed in a home. If the children do not find placement they will live their entire lives at the center. Many of the care takers are homeless adults who live in the adult section of the center.
